Job Description:

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (MIL/OA) in the Installation Personnel Administrative Center (IPAC) of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Balancing workloads, resolving problems, reviewing assigned work, and counseling personnel on pay, benefits and entitlements. GS-07Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing office procedures, resolving problems, reviewing assigned work, interviewing personnel, and counseling personnel on pay, benefits, and entitlements. You will manage workflow and balance workloads.
You will review the process of all assigned work.
You will review outbound interviews.
You will interview personnel and screen service records to prepare official documents.
You will research records and prepare forms to initiate final pay, leave settlement, separation pay or severance pay, and travel pay.
