Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY RECREATION SPECIALIST in the AC/S, Marine Corps Community Services, Semper Fit & Commercial Recreation of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the daily operations of an aquatics recreation program including training personnel, preparing financial reports and organizing special events. You will be responsible for assisting in the economic and efficient operation of all facilities and programs.
You will assist in the implementation of higher-level directives, formulating procedures and programs to ensure high standards of recreational and promotional efforts.
You will conduct inspections of facilities and associated equipment.
You will be responsible for ensuring the repair and maintenance of watercraft and equipment.
You will assist in the preparation of the financial plan, budgets, inventories, cost controls, and related records and reports.
You will effectively support the Marine Corps Equal Employment Opportunity policy, and ensure compliance with fire safety, security, and other environmental issues.
You will resolve personnel, performance and/or discipline problems and give advice, counsel or instruction to subordinates.
