Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing program direction, development and oversight, analyze and evaluate proposals, provide technical advice in engineering/architectural project development for planning and organizing large scale assignments. You will plan, direct, monitor and administer all professional staff consisting of engineers and engineering technicians.
You will provide oversight in the preparation of engineering/planning studies, estimates and economic analyses in order to recommend proper courses of action relative to facility construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
You will coordinate with the Facilities Engineering and Acquisitions Department (FEAD) during the construction and warranty phases of a project to provide technical expertise including evaluation of liability issues.
You will ensure all Service Contracts are being monitored properly by engineering technicians and contract specifications are being adhered to, track when contracts need to be renewed, and ensure contractor is performing as required.
You will ensure the scope, budget constraints, funding source, customer and environmental concerns as well as other major design, contract, packaging and construction issues are addressed and resolved.
You will work closely with GeoFidelis Department to act as the backup for developing maps and utilizing AutoCAD for reproduction of project drawings and project support documentation.
