Job Description:

You will serve as a TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM ASSISTANT in the CAREER ASSISTANCE BRANCH (CAB) of MARINE CORPS BASE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with the military service members separating from the service and transitioning to civilian life. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will adopt new or improved transition program procedures at the direction of the Career Assistance Branch (CAB) Manager.
You will interview clients to determine their transitions needs and provide the necessary assistance.
You will assist in developing new or modified program policies and objectives.
You will assist in facilitating seminars and conferences.
You will identify problem areas, trends, and significant program accomplishments.
You will assist in conducting a public relations campaign to include written publications, personal contacts, and videos.
