Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Managing the daily operations of a physical fitness program including hiring and training personnel, maintaining the facilities and equipment, and administering physical fitness and health-oriented programs. You will be responsible and accountable for the operation of the Devil Dog Gym and the Hancock Fitness Center/Hancock Aerobic Center.
You will administer physical fitness and health-oriented programs.
You will provide technical and administrative supervision as well as training to subordinate staff: (30) Recreation Attendants and (1) Recreation Assistant.
You will ensure that health and safety policies and practices are followed by the staff and patrons.
You will be responsible for the property account/internal controls of the Fitness Centers.
You will plan and evaluate work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will ensure staff maintain CPR/First Aid certifications.
