Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advise and assist in the coordination and execution of operational matters for airfield support, events, and range training; analyze, develop, and ensure installation security measures, programs, and planning are executed; conduct risk management assessments to identify budget, safety, and/or deficiencies to meet mission accomplishments; and provide oral and written communication to justify and/or influence decision making. Serves as the Director of the Operations Directorate consisting of military and civilian personnel for the airfield specific operations.
You will oversee management of airspace, air traffic control, aviation targets, ranges, outlying airfields, operational plans, aviation targets along with Installation Protection Programs.
You will validate, establishes and coordinates air station's operational specific requirements with functional directorates.
You will provide a full range of airfield and airfield support services to include flight clearance, air traffic control, crash/fire rescue, aircraft/launch recovery, weather, visiting aircraft line services and explosive ordnance disposal.
You will coordinate and provides support for the Mid Atlantic Electronic Warfare Range.
You will ensure strict adherence and compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration, DoD, DoN and Marine Corps regulations concerning the management of National Airspace, special use airspace, navigational equipment, and airfield facilities.
You will monitor assigned the airspace encroachment and oversees the Midair Collision Avoidance Program.
You will plan and coordinate the Air Station Destructive Weather program/Weather center emergency operations with USCG/FEMA/STATE/LOCAL recovery disaster control.
