Job Description:

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MIL) in the lnstallation Personnel Administration Center (IPAC) of RECRUIT TRAINING REGIMENT.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector processing military personnel actions throughout multiple sections such as Inbound, Customer Service, Command Support, Outbound, and Defense Travel System Helpdesk. Administering personnel actions through information systems like MCTFS, DTS, and RAPIDS/DEERS, and capable of certifying pay, entitlements, and other personnel-related actions. Coordinating complex personnel actions and providing guidance on policy and regulatory matters. You will supervise various sections including Inbound, Customer Service, Command Support, Outbound, and DTS.
You will handle personnel evaluations, disciplinary actions, attendance, and leave approvals.
You will identify employee training needs and arrange development opportunities.
You will review and certify pay and entitlements in accordance with regulations.
You will provide technical advice on military service records, personnel transfers, promotions, and separations.
You will supervise routine personnel actions, including promotions, evaluations, and separations.
You will track, audit, and manage incoming personnel records, ensuring proper documentation and assignments.
You will manage service records, promote timely and accurate evaluations, and track body composition program and personnel status.
You will oversee mandatory training, handle promotion processes, and ensure graduation requirements are met.
You will Prepare and verify separation documents, discharge orders, and track recruits’ transition.
You will provide technical support for DTS/MCTFS conflict resolution and support travel authorizations.
You will oversee classification testing and ID card issuance for recruits and military personnel.
This position may be required to work nights Monday through Thursday, between 1800-0600, for a 10 hour work day. These personnel are entitled to night differential pay.
