This position is for Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum, New York. FMWR includes Child and Youth Services, Business Recreation, and Support Services, which enable Soldier readiness, support the resiliency and well-being of Soldiers and Families. Qualified candidates will possess the following: meet state/local age (18) requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverages at time of appointment (projected appointment date: 04/24/2025)., AND ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds., AND ability to perform simple arithmetic to calculate bills and make change., AND ability to recognize shortages of supplies and replace them as necessary., AND ability to mix drinks using alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages., AND ability to recognize and handle intoxicated patrons., AND ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff. Operates a small full-service bar, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with operating procedures.
Keeps records of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor.
Keeps bar, utensils, equipment and work area clean and sanitary.
Receives and checks quantity and description of stock.
