Work experience must include technical knowledge of automated applications, security requirements, and the ability to prepare written briefings and conduct oral presentations. Performs duties in the delivery of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Management Information Systems (MIS) at a major command level. Responsible for integrating automated applications into all aspects of MWR operations.
Works closely with program managers to assist in developing and implementing procedures and actions to support automated programs.
Serves as liaison for MWR MIS applications among G-9 program managers/Division Chiefs/Director MWR/Garrison Information Services Officer.
Applies advanced information technology (IT) principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices to plan and carry out difficult and complex assignments and develop new methods, approaches, and procedures.
Identifies, coordinates and conducts MIS training (i.e. MWRA, contractor, IMCOM G9, SME, CST, etc.) allowing users at all levels to maintain proficiency and fully utilize applications.
