Kohler Ventures seeks a Project Lead to help coordinate activities within and between project teams to align with the strategy and timelines of broader organizational goals. Representative activities might include: project coordination, delegation, reporting & escalation, vendor management, and project implementation.
The candidate should have a desire to work in an environment similar to a start-up, where hierarchy is flattened, speed is paramount, innovative ideas win the day, and priorities may suddenly shift.
This role requires a highly collaborative attitude, as teamwork and open communication are essential to success. This position will report directly to the Operations Lead, Kohler Ventures.
In this role you will:
Manage high impact, critical projects across the organization working with teams across Software, Hardware, Design, Manufacturing, and Advanced R&D Define project plans, monitor execution and provide comprehensive reports to leadership and upper management Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendorsAnalyze, evaluate, and overcome project risks to enable project completion on time and within budgetRecommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategiesProvide support to the broader operations team as needed, assisting with tasks such as data entry, document organization, and coordination of procurement-related activities
