Specific
responsibilities for each level of cook will vary, including:
Preparing
all foods necessary for service
Ordering and
Inventory control
Practicing
safe food handling techniques
Maintaining
knife safety standards
Demonstrating
competency in breakfast cookery, vegetable preparations, cooking starches,
sandwich preparation, basic meat, fish, & poultry cooking
Conducting
monthly inventory taking
For
higher level cook positions:
Advanced
meat, fish and poultry fabrication, advanced stocks, soups and sauce
preparation
Develop
daily specials that contribute to the development of our food program
and new menus
Having an
advanced knowledge of multiple styles of service
Demonstrating
leadership in your work group, have the ability to lead the kitchen in the
absence of the unit chef
We
have full time positions available across Destination Kohler! Working 40 hours
a week, shifts will vary, weekdays and weekends.
