About the Position: This position is located in Edinburgh, IN. Work is performed on-line using a DHA issued laptop. Hours of operations consist of 8 hour days 5 days a week. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist: Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology. Licensure: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing bio-psychological social evaluations, performing individual, couple, family, and/or group psychological counseling, and developing behavioral health treatment plans. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Perform bio-psychological social evaluations utilizing principles and practices of psychological counseling.
Develop comprehensive treatment plans to restore and rehabilitate patients with personal, emotional, and/or mental illnesses.
Develop, implement, and evaluate processional development activities.
Determine the appropriate psychological test that will be administered to the patient and monitor for quality assurance.
Assess and provide crisis intervention for individuals and families undergoing unusual medical related stresses.
