Specific Responsibilities
Business analysis: Assessing portfolio effectiveness and making recommendations for improving sales performance Goal setting: Determining sales goals Making recommendations about distribution and pricing Reporting: Compiling reports and communicating findings, insights to clients and executives Data analysis: Analyzing data to identify opportunities to improve the layout and performance of the category Performance monitoring: Collecting and analyzing data to gauge performance using KPIs and benchmarks Turning POS, shipments, weeks of stock analysis and insights into product forecast recommendations
Demand and supply management
Maintain an up-to-date database of competitive & market information including product catalogs, price lists, current promotions, and new product introductionsCollaborate with channel marketing teams in executing new product launch plans and current product portfolio programmingProvide product support to sales organizations
