Qualified candidates will possess the following: ability to lead the work of other barista staff, AND math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and inventory, AND skill in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine (must be supported in your resume), AND ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff. Orders, receives and checks quantity and description of stock, and stocks supplies and retail products.
Leads the team in the operation of a small full-service coffee shop.
Demonstrates proper work methods and trains team on the proper use of all food and drink preparation equipment.
Keeps records of quantities of beverages and other goods dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor and conducts monthly inventory.
Provides customer with product details, records sales, and takes customer payments for goods by operating a cash register, balances cash drawer at the end of the day.
