About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Club Five Six on Luke AFB. This is a Flexible position, no benefits

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: QUALIFICATIONS Must be 18 years of age and have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Must have responsible experience which provides a general knowledge of club operations, or a minimum of four years of progressive experience, which provides a thorough knowledge of all duties described above in marketing, special events planning, food and beverage management, or closely related profession. Must have the knowledge of theories, practices, techniques of business practices and concepts as related to special events/entertainment programs. Knowledge of current trends in music, theater, and the overall entertainment industry, sufficient to ensure audience enjoyment of selected programs. Must have experience or training in computer applications such as office automation software, and is required to be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of time management, Food-trak, Caterease, and Aloha Systems are desired. First-class customer service skills are required. Required to work uncommon tour of duty. Must be able to effectively read, write and speak in English and must be detailed oriented. Successful completion of an installation records and National Agency Check W/inquiries is required. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Under direct supervision of the Club Manager, managing the operations of the Club/Events Center. Supervises subordinates and develops, recommends and enforces operating and administrative procedures. Effectively oversees the daily operations by providing and ensuring quality service to patrons in accordance with AF Standards. Oversees work performed is in compliance with established policies and procedures. Supervises the Food and Beverage operation. Oversees the Club workforce by maintaining personnel records, providing on-the-job training and administering employee counseling and/or disciplinary actions. Consistent with operational requirements, plans and delegates duty assignments. Provides supervision, training and oversees booking, catering and coordination of events. Develops budgetary data, evaluating financial statements, and actions/changes are accurately prepared with final review of Community Services Flight Chief. Ensures accuracy of daily reports, daily profit and loss. Reviews the accuracy of monthly inventory and maintains financial records and other data. Conducts surprise cash counts and maintains necessary suspense controls. Oversees and verifies all time, attendance and payroll records. Designated as alternate building custodian. Serves as the Entertainment Programmer who is responsible for the planning, organizing and implementation of club recreational, entertainment and special event programs. This includes recurring and non-recurring activities, special events and joint community undertakings to make maximum use of facilities, services, and other resources. Represents and promotes club activities, events and programs to various gatherings of duty members and civilian employees. Plans, directs, organizes, develops and implements the Club Marketing Operations Plan and Marketing Actions Plan. Acts as liaison with the Marketing and Publicity offices. Coordinates and manages all administrative requirements for the successful completion of programs. Conducts regular meetings with staff to ensure all aspects of support for programs will be sufficient to include procurements, all support duties by the clubs, commercial sponsorship, and marketing. Arranges for supplies and time flow to be accomplished during scheduled activities. Provides instructions and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place ensuring club rules, regulations and established procedures are adhered to. Develops inputs of club programs for inclusion in the Luke Events.com monthly publication and newspaper insert. Accounts for funds and makes recommendations for improvements. Tracks and analyzes expenditures and assures accounting of all funds and assets. Maintains records and compiles data for reports. Follows all Air Force regulations in the procurement of equipment, supplies and entertainment. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems.
