Job Description:
You will serve as a Supply Technician (Stock Control) in the Aviation Support Department of FLTREADCEN WEST DET. The incumbent of this position will perform both Inventory Accuracy and Quality Assurance of Supply Officer Assets received and on the shelf.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing supply systems to monitor and reconcile routine and recurring supply transactions and identify discrepancies in data reports in order to determine inventory availability for supply operations. You will prepare the schedule of all locations in warehouses that will be inventoried.
You will perform inventories, causative research, and adjustments. You will ensure that all areas where Supply Officer Assets are stored are inventoried and reconciled at least once annually.
You will check the NALCOMIS (Navy Aviation Logistics Command Information System) and the Navy ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) databases, assuring all receipts and issues are recorded in both, locations match and counts are accurate.
You will report to management all gains, losses and surveys as well as financial impact associated with those actions monthly.
You will coordinate with Component Control Section, Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLC) personnel and the NALCOMIS Database Administrator to assure that movements of assets are properly recorded, updated, corrected and quantities are correct.
