THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number PDD1953000 and is part of the WY 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.
AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: Primary consideration will be made as follows: Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 LRS. Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard. Area 6: Current and prior service military members separated from any branch of the military to include US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Coast Guard, Reserves, and National Guard components. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Knowledge of basic or commonly applied rules, procedures, or operations such as, filling out, posting, filing, controlling, or coding documents and/or transactions. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience with governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment. Experience conducting searches for required information; reconstruct records for supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts. Experience performing various aspects of supply specialist work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to segments in one or more major areas of supply management. Experience which required person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. This position is in the Wyoming Air National Guard, 153d Logistics Readiness Squadron, Materiel Management Flight, Customer Support Liaison Element. Responds to customer logistics concerns and proactively anticipates problems that could stand in the way of 153d Airlift Wing's units fulfilling mission requirements. Responsible for interfacing with Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC); conducts document control functions, demand processing, research and base level records maintenance, base level stock control functions, bench stock management, and customer feedback; troubleshoots all materiel management concerns; manages and issues SATS smart cards and manages the Zero Overpricing Program. Responsible for coordinating Base-Level Supply Customer Training as it pertains to Block training.
