Job Summary: The Securitized Products Group (SPG) structures and underwrites loan facilities and securities of ABS, Trade Receivables, and CLO. The candidate will be part of the Portfolio Management team within SPG, working closely with the SPG deal teams and other internal MUFG support groups to ensure operations, risks, performance, and strategic initiatives are controlled, managed, and communicated effectively. The candidate will be involved in issue resolution, transaction, and portfolio management, and will be accountable for creating and delivering various controls, financial, accounting, and reporting for SPG. Responsibilities: Creation of daily/weekly portfolio reports, including ingesting, analyzing, arranging, and/or illustrating data, testing for accuracy, and presentation Monitoring and managing internal control functions and processes to support SPG compliance with transaction, regulatory, and/or firm-wide policy and procedures Develop solutions to automate processes / revamp infrastructure in order to reduce inefficiencies and increase productivity and operational robustness. Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and its impact on the business Creation of daily/weekly portfolio reports, including ingesting, analyzing, arranging, and/or illustrating data, testing for accuracy, and presentation Support SPG management on strategic and platform priorities, ensuring timely delivery and quality execution on projects Collaborate closely with SPG’s deal team and other MUFG support groups, including Middle and Back Office, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Risk Management, and Finance, to achieve business objectives Support the wider SPG team members as needed Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in financial services with knowledge of capital markets, banks, broker-dealers, and securitized transactions and loans Knowledge of securitized product structures, including tranching, waterfalls, and prepayment/credit risks Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI (emphasis on Power Query and/or VBA backgrounds preferred) Strong financial and quantitative abilities, including attention to detail and affinity for data analysis Ability to understand and analyze business processes, products, and initiatives to identify risks, improve processes, and provide strategic and tactical solutions Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize across multiple deliverables concurrently and execute within deadlines Strong communication and investigative skills are essential Structured approach to problem solving and able to maintain high-quality output under time pressure Driven, self-starting, and intellectually curious, with sound judgment, professionalism, and accountability for work product Undergraduate or Master's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or Risk Management The typical base pay range for this role is between $103K - $125K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
