Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer, applying systems engineering principles to direct the design, development, and life cycle support of strategic weapon control systems in alignment with federal budget and policy requirements. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER within the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Fire Control and Guidance Branch (SP23).
You will be responsible for exercising program and technical management in the design development and deployment of TRIDENT Fire Control System, Ship Submersible Guided Nuclear, Attack Weapon Control System, and their major upgrades.
You will direct and approve contract and work requests for technical and financial execution.
You will plan, prepare, and approve of the budgets for the design development integrations. certification deployment and maintenance and life cycle progression of the Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS).
You will develop and execute long range program plans that will implement the programs in accordance with operational schedules and milestones.
You will be responsible for the formulation of policy and procedural methods to be utilized in work accomplishment by subordinates as well as establishing priorities and major milestones for competition of work.
