About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the LAKE TEXOMA ANNEX, GRAYSON COUNTY TEXAS.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience which demonstrates the duties of the responsibilities and position. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions. Physically able to frequently lift and carry heavy objects weighing more than 50 pounds. Able to work in inclement weather and conditions which are dusty, muddy, snowy, hot, or cold. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
Loads, unloads, or relocates heavy or bulky items around the Annex using provided carrier equipment as necessary. Digs ditches and trenches with pick and shovel where dirt is hard and compact; does grading and sloping; occasionally and for short periods of time, breaks up pavement with jackhammer; mixes and pours concrete, asphalt, and hot mix; fills and levels holes in damaged areas. Uses and maintains power mowers, small tractors, chain saws, and other necessary tools. Repair and replace minor plumbing and electrical, ie.) leaky faucets, clogged drains, light fixtures, outlets, etc. Procures and maintains an inventory of everyday items needed to support the Annex. Safely operates small trucks, tractors, and other equipment as needed. Clears snow or other obstructions for access to the Annex and its facilities. Checks all Fire and Safety equipment and documents as required. Performs other related duties as assigned.
