Job Description:

You will serve as a MANAGER in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT D00 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER,Port Hueneme Division. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Although we are moving forward with the consideration of candidates, we will not make a selection for this vacancy announcement unless and until the position is no longer subject to the hiring freeze.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer managing engineering projects and providing technical direction to make key decisions, implement policy, and ensure effective communication and planning in order to meet program objectives and adhere to key performance indicators. You will serve as the Manager for the Network and Digital Systems Sustainment Division (D60) within the Digital Engineering Department (D Department).
You will assume overall responsibility for the formulation, implementation, and management of essential policies, procedures, and operational schedules critical to the division's seamless operation.
You will collaborate closely with the departmental leadership team and project offices.
You will be tasked with architecting acquisition strategies, establishing comprehensive long-range work plans spanning various timeframes, and defining budgetary requirements at the division level.
You will ensure the successful achievement of goals and objectives aligned with the supervised program segment(s) or function(s), while consistently adhering to key performance indicators encompassing requirements, schedules, quality, cost, and risk.
You will be required to demonstrate a profound understanding of resource planning and management, employing concepts that contribute significantly to the division's optimal performance
