You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $137,000). The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and coordinating Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements to develop acquisition phases for weapons systems. You will be the Integrated Product Support (IPS) Lead for the Fire Control Family of Sensors within the Maritime Targeting Electro-Optics Branch.
You will collaborate and interact with program offices and other stakeholders to ensure on time development and delivery of product support and logistics (PS and L) products and documentation.
You will prepare briefings identifying risks and provide courses of action to the Program Office for mitigation of supportability problems.
You will make recommendations to senior engineers and scientists on engineering change proposal incorporation strategies to maximize technology insertion.
You will be required to draft and review complete provisioning, create technical manuals, update create programmatic documentation, create depot stand up strategy, and integrated logistics support (ILS) certs to enable installation.
You will support the depot repair efforts including material movement, material transfer, and shipping.
