About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Facility . Flexible employment is based on the needs of the activity and schedule may vary between 0 and 40 hours per week. Schedule may also include occasional evening and weekend hours based on squadron/program requirements. Candidate must be able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 40 pounds and occasionally more.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: This is an entry level position and no minimum qualifications are required.
Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities; records attendance; takes reservations and payment for on base recreation facilities, campground sites, trips and tours and rental items; notifies participants of schedule changes; arranges for equipment or tools, charging them out to participants, and checking them for condition on their return; decorates community or neighborhood centers or recreation centers for special events, activities, or parties; strings tennis or volleyball nets; lines base lines and base paths; sets up batting cages; prepares seasonal rental equipment (bikes, tents, skis and all others as needed) for use, ensures all preseason inspections are completed, checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment; posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers inquiries about item, place, transportation, or other matters related to activities scheduled; takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment; and helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor, performing specifically assigned tasks.
