Die Repair Technician
Location: Onsite – Casa Grande, AZ
Competitive Compensation: Starting at $35.00 per hour with shift differential pay increase at .90 per hour.
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Crafting Excellence: Your Responsibilities
The Die Repair Technician performs general repairs and simple modifications to dies/molds, as directed. In this role, you will support plant improvement programs with regard to die/mold modifications and secondary fixtures construction. You will also perform all work in a skilled and safe manner. You will be an ideal candidate if you are enthusiastic and willing to learn die/mold repair techniques and the processes required for die/mold repair and fixtures fabrication.
Additional Job Duties
Learn to use and work with hand tools such as die grinders, pencil grinders and sanders
Learn to use and work with measurement devices such a calipers, micrometers, depth gages, angle gages, and scales, among others.
Occasionally perform TIG, MIG, Stick, and Oxy/Acetylene welding.
Support plant improvement programs with construction of secondary fixtures and other needed equipment.
Move dies/molds, separate die/mold cavity and core, and turn over dies/molds as needed and in a safe manner.
Work with other areas of management to implement engineering changes to parts/dies/molds.
Perform preventive maintenance on dies/molds.
Maintain records of work performed on dies/molds and fixtures.
Be knowledgeable of and continuously use the “buddy lift” method for moving all parts, including but not limited to awkward lifting circumstances.
Maintain good safety and housekeeping practices.
Perform other related duties, as instructed.
Complete training on all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Lean Operating Procedures (LOPs), policies, and procedures.
