The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. Translating clients’ requirements to functional documentation; participating in technical designs and test planning. Developing documents for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies. Designing, prototyping, coding, and testing new or enhanced applications. Eliciting the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments. Performing customer support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications. Translating business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders. Monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems, as necessary. Working closely with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverable. Details: Work with project teams, technology stakeholders, and/or vendors to ensure that the design, development, and implementation of applications programs and services meet organization’s information security, risk, change management and other policies. Participate in the analysis of client needs. Advise clients in the choice of functionalities. Support clients in validating and understanding the analysis. Communicate client requirements in functional specifications to the development team. Participate in quality control and ensure the integrity of information. Participate in the implementation of the solution. Document the different solutions implemented (business rules, flow rules, schematics, user documentation, operating procedures, etc.). Train and support clients in the use of the solution. Align with the project delivery life cycle, completing required outputs as assigned. Escalate compliance concerns and advise on possible solutions. Refine proposed solutions and estimate resource requirements in consultation with technology developers. Build wire frames, report layouts and other artifacts to help FCOA and business and technology stakeholders understand proposed solutions and refine business and functional requirements. Review and create/edit WBS, Business Requirement Documents, Project Planning Documents, Functional Requirement Documents and Detailed Design Documents. Act as an expert resource during project initiation and execution to ensure that the project meets business objectives. Perform system administrative, configuration, and reporting functions. Run database queries or create reports in support of management information needs. Formulate and define moderately complex system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Ensure that process maps and documentation remain current, and that process changes are effectively led from a control perspective. Create Unit test plan and test cases; participate and provide input to SIT and UAT test plans and test cases. Participate in daily triages on testing and defects management with IT teams. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience Experience developing business requirements to solve complex problems in consultation with business partners Experience writing detailed business requirements and functional requirements Effective use of collaboration tools Effective communication, presentation, and documentation skills. Good organization, planning, and interpersonal skills Strength in interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new concepts and technologies and effectively apply them Demonstrated ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as Business Analyst Minimum of 3 years' experience in banking or finance industry Deep experience in the banking or finance industries preferred Deep experience working in commercial banking operations is preferred. Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance concerns preferred Experience with focus on risk management, risk modelling, and/or knowledge of regulatory requirements of institutional banking highly desired Experience working closely with business teams to understand requirements Experience working in a systematic project management delivery process Experience presenting to senior stakeholders Proven ability to solicit, define, and deliver business requirements Experience defining creative solutions to meet business needs The typical base pay range for this role is between $78K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
