Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and interpreting HR laws and regulations on staffing and classification topics; utilizing HR automated system for recruitment actions; using classification standards and supplemental guidelines to establish and maintain position descriptions (PDs) and/or position requirements descriptions (PRDs). You will perform workforce planning/analysis. Advises management in identifying, attracting, and retaining a high-quality workforce that is capable of accomplishing the organization's mission.
You will provide advisory services to management on staffing actions to include placements, merit promotions, and recruitment from internal and external sources.
You will advise management on the use of compensation flexibilities to help recruit, manage, and retain employees consistent with HRO policy and guidance.
You will plan, organize and direct efforts to persuade management officials to accept change and implement recommendations. Evaluate and make recommendations concerning plans and proposals for projects.
You will develop, interpret, and analyze data and reports and determine the most effective approach to communicate the status or to take action.
You will perform position evaluations as well as establish and maintain a position classification program to determine appropriate pay system, occupational grouping, title and grade of positions.
You will provide insight and recommendations on position and organizational design that are efficient, cost effective, and which establish grade levels that facilitate career development and progression.
You will utilize personnel data systems to process personnel actions.
You will serve as a technical expert for management officials with responsibility for researching, interpreting, modifying, and applying HRO regulations/guidelines.
You will apply Human Resources Office (HRO) regulations/guidelines related to recruitment/placement for adaptation to specific problems or issues.
You will coordinate and attend recruitment fairs, and college/university recruitment events establishing partnerships with local colleges.
You will coordinate and attend recruitment fairs for the recruitment of interns in support of workforce and succession planning efforts.
