About the Position: This position will be located in the Department of Preventive Medicine, Traumatic Brain Injury Center, at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist: Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology. AND License: The Clinical Psychologist position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. (NOTE: You must provide a copy of your license with your application package. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing psychological evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing behavioral health interventions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Professional Clinical Psychologist for Traumatic Brain Injury Program for Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) and Western Regional Medical Command.
Provide psychological screening and assessment (clinical interview, assessment, scoring, interpretation, report writing) with a broad range of active-duty service members and eligible retirees and dependents.
As advisor and consultant, assists in developing, implementing and managing the TBI Program for the psychological assessment of behavioral effects of central nervous system (CNS) dysfunction.
Provide professional consultation and liaison to other medical departments within MAMC and Western Region Medical Center regarding the identification and diagnosis of TBI and complex neurobehavioral cases.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of specialized professional literature and scientific findings.
