Job Description:

You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONTROL COORDINATOR in the Telephone Branch of MCAS BEAUFORT SC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing administrative management functions by performing technical, analytical planning and execution of telecommunication programs and projects, managing service contracts, and overseeing telecommunication and media equipment inventory to support mission requirements for the Telecommunications branch.. You will collaborate with telecommunication subscribers, contractors, and command representatives to determine the level of access required by the customer within the prescribed criteria allowed.
You will coordinate with the Outside Plant Supervisor to test cable paths from the frame to the location of service for both installation of new service and the repair of existing service.
You will manage the communications records for cable repair assignments.
You will manage administrative workload (e.g. tasking assignments, work oversight) to administrative personnel.
You will manage all telecommunications related databases.
You will perform budget administration and management functions including formulation and revision of annual budget verses costs and services, preparing special project cost estimates.
You will manage all aspects of external contracts (e.g. wireless services, cellular phones, paging systems).
You will coordinate preliminary testing of services to determine adverse effect and operational readiness.
You will conduct investigations to ensure critical data is current.
