Qualifications: Work Experience directing one or more DMWR Support Management programs for a garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year. Highly Preferred: Possess minimum (1) year of professional experience as a NAF Support Manager, Financial Manager, or Financial Management Specialist for Army NAF. Possess minimum (1) year of professional experience planning, executing, and reviewing Army NAF budgets. Possess minimum (3) years of operational experience using Army NAF DFMWR financial management and record keeping systems to include RecTrac, SMIRF, and FMBS. Possess minimum (1) year experience of operational oversight of cash handling procedures, internal controls, NAF government purchase card program, and NAF major and minor construction contracts.
Manages and directs special event tasks that could include setup and NAF asset relocation to support major installation wide events that could require lifting up to 40 lbs.
Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Support Division at a small/medium garrison
Directs and develops finance and accounting operations through various services to include receipt of, distribution of, and accounting for NAF. Maintains accounts showing status of installation allotments, assets, and liabilities.
Reviews and evaluates progress of program plans to determine whether overall objectives are being accomplished economically with reference to budget and manpower.
Preforms other duties as assigned.
