Job Description:

You will serve as a CONTACT REPRESENTATIVE (DEPLOYABILITY COORDINATOR) of NMRTC CHARLESTON SC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing knowledge of DHA, DoD and Navy directives/instructions and Disability Evaluation system policies, guidelines and procedures. Utilizing knowledge of the healthcare delivery system and classification system for International Classification of Diseases (ICD), medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology, procedures, major diseases and injuries, military and civilian medical organizational structure and practices sufficient to analyze records, perform research and ensure the accuracy of documentation. Utilizing knowledge and understanding of the limited duty, overseas screening, exceptional family member programs and the medical retirement of military members. You will be responsible for the management of all functions involved in the Limited Duty (LIMDU), Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) and Overseas Screening (OSS) programs to ensure compliance.
You will communicate directly with representatives from area Operational Commands regarding the appointment and reevaluation process for the Limited Duty (LIMDU) personnel.
You will counsel and provide explanations regarding the policies, regulations and procedures pertaining to the individuals particular type of medical board.
You will take action on all Limited Duty (LIMDU) cases initiated by medical providers within the Limited Duty Sailor and Marine Readiness Tracker (LIMDU SMART) application and follow the progression of each case throughout the assigned period.
You will provide service members customer services from initiation of board through disposition.
You will review enrollment packages for completeness, legibility, and accuracy.
