You will serve as an INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY ENGINEER (ISSE)/COMPUTER SCIENTIST in the CYBERSECURITY ENGINEERING BRANCH, SYSTEM SECURITY ENGINEERING DIVISION, TEST & EVALUATION of NAVAL UNDERSEA WARFARE CENTER, DIVISION KEYPORT, WASHINGTON (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional computer scientist analyzing software against cybersecurity risk management framework (RMF) requirements to ensure weapons/afloat systems. For GS-11: at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional computer scientist evaluating cybersecurity risk management framework (RMF) requirements to offer solution during analysis, design, development, or testing of weapons systems. You will provide expert guidance to customers and other stakeholders as they navigate the risk management framework (RMF) process.
You will develop and provide guidance to engineers and scientists on the design and implementation of secure computer systems.
You will assist with the development of system design requirements as they relate to cybersecurity.
You will serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert in performing risk assessments and suggesting mitigations and ways to reduce risk in order to properly secure systems.
You will review work of others, including more junior personnel and vendor engineers, done on specific problems, projects, programs, and functions.
You will review and stay up to date on cybersecurity and risk management framework policies and procedures, attending regular Question and Answer and similar meetings with others across the Navy.
