Job Description:

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing advanced aspects of law enforcement, antiterrorism, and physical security functions at military installations requiring use and deployment of specialized or advanced techniques, equipment, knowledge or training; 2) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations; 3) Coordinating with other law enforcement agencies during emergency response situations at a moment's notice, to include response to mass casualty and active shooter situations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will ensure employees are in compliance with shift requirements for arming and personal protective equipment (PPE), and are provided briefings on installation security posture, safety, and use of deadly force.
You will respond to and investigates complaints while interpreting and enforcing state and federal laws, the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), DoD, and Navy regulations, and installation directives, rules and regulations.
You will interview witnesses, takes statements, secures crime scenes, seizes and protects evidence, drafts report, creates incident diagrams, and provides direction to other civilian and/or military law enforcement personnel as required.
