MUFG has an immediate need for an Analyst to join our Capital Markets Group – Money Markets. Successful candidates will: have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal; comfortable speaking with clients and senior bank executives have high levels of motivation and integrity be innovative and have the ability to generate new and creative ideas be a critical thinker, able to manipulate and analyze data and qualitative factors to craft arguments possess superior Excel and Power Point skills, with experience with (or interest in) use of AI for big data analysis have a true interest in Financial Services and Capital Markets; knowledge of money markets a plus be a self-starter, able to create necessary relationships internally and externally, with little supervision effectively manage multiple projects or transactions with near-term deadlines have a strong attention to detail and respect for accuracy in all work have obtained an excellent undergraduate degree result Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain marketing materials to position MUFG’s platform to secure new mandates Coordinate with the Sales & Trading desk to apprise our issuer clients of pricing dynamics in the market Maintain databases and stay abreast of recent trends to highlight in pitchbooks and market reports Draft market reports for clients Manage response to myriad senior management and client inquiries (e.g. trading performance, business strategy, etc.) Coordinate with other colleagues within the MUFG suite of products and services to develop holistic value-added client solutions. Assist with transaction execution, including the development of working group lists, transaction timetables, managing Legal, KYC and Compliance review, etc. Actively participate in reviewing and editing of deal documentation and ensure completion within the established transaction timeline Assist in arranging market update calls and marketing efforts Manage projects designed to improve Commercial Paper origination & trading efficiency Education: Bachelor’s degree Desired/Plus: Series 7, 63, 79 CFA (or on CFA track) The typical base pay range for this role is between $110K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
