You will serve as a MANAGER in the Weapons Systems Division (JXN), Airborne Crew-Served Weapons Branch (JXNV) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-14 Step 10 (currently $161,889). The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
In addition to basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist, leading the development, planning or execution of engineering projects, programs or initiatives for weapons system programs.
