Job Description:
You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the COMMANDER, U.S. PACIFIC FLEET of COMPACFLT HRO NORTHWEST.
GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing human resource program support in labor relations, employee relations, drug free workplace, and/or performance management by developing, implementing and advising on policies and procedures to ensure program efficiency and compliance. You will advise on how to improve labor relations programs.
You will assist with complex negotiation matters and issues impacting multiple servicing Human Resource Offices.
You will provide advice and assistance on discipline actions, grievances, performance management and recognition, employee counseling, telework, and the Civilian Employee Assistance Program.
You will serve as the primary subject matter expert in the Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program and will provide information to the Human Resource Offices related to account requests and reporting.
You will serve as the Injury Compensation Program Lead and provide policy and strategic guidance in interpreting compensation policies, regulations and procedures.
You will serve as the Drug Program Coordinator providing program oversight and policy management.
You will review and analyze workforce development initiatives for trends, effectiveness, use, and further promotion.
