Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must have sufficient training and experience to perform the duties of the position, on own initiative, under normal supervision. **Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above.
Makes repairs by removing, cleaning, replacing and sealing defective parts of lawn irrigation systems.
Repairs/replaces sprinkler heads, piping, valves, couplings and other associated parts to include automatic control timers.
Measures, cuts and threads pipe, bending sections to desired curvature and assembling for installation
Caulks, glues and seals such things as elbows, union joints and plastic and metal piping, to include tapping into pipes up to 8 inches.
Digs holes and/or trenches to expose broken pipes for repair/replacement. Maintains adequate supply of repair parts.
Performs other duties as assigned.
