Job Description:
You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Business Director Division (0BD), Command Department (00) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing business program operations (e.g. short and long-term planning, setting priorities, estimating resources) to assess and develop business or administrative processes and procedures to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency. You will serve as the Chief Strategist for Business as a function of the Business Director Staff.
You will be responsible for corporate strategy integration across Command Staff, Comptroller, Contracts, and Corporate Operations and also for integration with the Mission Area Chief Strategists.
You will support the Command Strategy Lead to further development, integration, deployment, and execution of strategic objectives, measures, and targets.
You will support of command priorities and to meet emergent requirements.
You will be a key enabler for the establishment of Crane’s Mission Areas, their growth of critical mass, and the attainment of clear national leadership.
You will have a critical role is developing synergistic, cross-Department and cross-Mission area workload in areas.
You will collaborate on the development and deployment of Command Strategic Intent, Command Strategic Measures and Targets, Thrust Areas, etc.
You will ensure development of multi-year Investment Plans (Facilities, IT, Hiring Plan, CIP, etc.).
You will align Technical and Business Divisions to Strategic Intent.
You will assist in coordination of Command Investment Board, designed to assure sufficient resourcing of strategic priorities in an integrated manner.
You will assist in coordination of the Command Make-Buy process to assure staffing of workload in the most effective way, and scalability to meet strong customer demand.
You will collaborate with the Comptroller Department, Corp Operations Department, and Contracts Department.
