In this position you will manage the Technical Assistance Group in the Public Assistance Program Management Branch of the FEMA Region 7 Recovery Division. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience leading and tasking teams; implementing and leading public assistance program-level disaster recovery field operations Region 7 events; and briefing and coordinating with federal, state, tribal or local officials
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will lead the Technical Assistance Group in the Public Assistance Program Management Branch of the FEMA Region 7 Recovery Division. Typical assignments include: Supervising engineers (Civil/Electrical) and Public Assistance PFT staff responsible for transitioned events, FMAG and program technical specialists. Reviewing policies related to the Public Assistance programs and providing technical assistance to stakeholders. Compiling, collecting, or analyzing data to make independent decisions and recommendations to senior leaders. Applying laws, regulations, and policies in the delivery of Public Assistance or Fire Management Grant Programs. Analyzing issues and responding to matters in dispute, citing appropriate laws, regulations, policies, or source documents. What else do I need to know?
