Job Description:

You will serve as a FLEET OPERATIONS ANALYST in the Fleet Support and Analysis (FSA) Branch of NSMWDC DET DAHLGREN. "The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption."
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector researching, analyzing and evaluating strategic policies and future capabilities of naval surface warfare development to aid in the development of tactical training, doctrine and guidance. You will oversee the assessment of all combat systems capabilities for various Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) environments by multiple organizations representing laboratories, Navy, Joint, and combined efforts.
You will participate in Naval, Joint, and combined level force assessments in conjunction with establishing programmatic priorities for both near and long-term mission area assessments of current and future forces.
You will evaluate and coordinate operations research and mathematical and statistical methodologies and computer based modeling and simulation technologies to analytical issues in order to improve real-world operations.
You will develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives to meet long-range war-fighting readiness requirements.
You will serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for Contracts/Task Orders regarding IAMD analyses with other entities, to include NAVSEA, ATRC and JHU/APL in support of operational/tactical units.
