Job Description:
You will serve as a HOUSING PROGRAM MANAGER in the ???????Commander, Navy Region Northwest of COMMANDER, NAVY REGION NORTHWEST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, interpreting and implementing housing policy, program management oversight and administration of housing activities for a government-owned, leased, rented and/or Public Private Venture (PPV) Family Housing; 2) Developing and establishing directives, implementing principle guidelines for housing management activities, developing and managing business practices, initiatives and programs for a region of housing offices; 3) Developing budgets; preparing, maintaining and implementing budget and execution plans for a housing business entity to ensure proper negotiations or commitment of government funds; 4) Conducting regular or periodic audits or studies, and evaluating results to assess accomplishment of program requirements; and 5) Demonstrating the ability to communicate both orally and in writing to discuss housing matters to subordinates or high level managers. You will analyze problem areas to implement corrective measures using guidelines of housing program requirements.
You will address family housing issues in order to implement action as appropriate.
You will coordinate with housing personnel to resolve difficult and complex problems.
You will conduct formal presentations on Family and Bachelor Housing matters.
You will develop housing program management plans and procedures to achieve organizational objectives
You will compare program requirements to budget resources to formulate a regional business strategy
You will conduct housing program management studies to provide recommendations to management.
