GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the GS-09 level, you must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants must have experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management. Experience developing administrative procedures.
As an HR SPECIALIST (MILITARY) - Title 32, GS-0201-9, you will administer and accomplish functions of one or more of the following human resources programs: Career Enhancements, Customer Service, Employments, Relocations, and/or Readiness.. Duties (1) Career Enhancements: Plans, directs, controls and provides advisory services on all aspects of the Career Enhancement program for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR), unit drill status guardsmen, full time technicians and potential members. (2) Customer Service: Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Customer Service Program. Manages the Air Force Personnel Records System. (3) Employments: Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the human resources employment program. (4) Relocations: Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Relocation program for all members. (5) Readiness: Develops wing readiness plans for the administration of contingencies and mobilizations. (6) Performs other duties as assigned.
