Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume. Specialized experience includes: 1.) Exercising knowledge of federal agencies, statutory requirements, policies, and budgets in the areas of security programs, facilities, safety and emergency management, procurement, government purchase and travel card management and acquisition, and a variety of administrative, support, and logistic programs, studies, and initiatives. 2) Developing program reviews, studies, initiatives, and controls on an agency/enterprise level: compiling data; working with subject matter experts to manage and collate the data; presenting accurate findings and recommendations orally and in written presentations to senior executives. 3) Managing facilities and contracts, including building leases, procurement, security systems, and technological infrastructure. Proven ability to coordinate facilities operations, optimize space allocation, ensure compliance with government leases, and administer programs such as government purchase/travel cards and drug testing, that consistently delivers efficient and effective administrative support. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
- Oversees, directs, and manages Agency security programs, facilities, safety and emergency management, inventory management, procurement and acquisition, and a variety of administrative, support, and logistic programs, studies, and initiatives. - Develops implementation strategies techniques and troubleshoots challenges to enhance the management of programs and initiatives within the portfolio. Studies, plans, initiates, develops, executes, and evaluates policies, procedures, and other guidance to support Agency requirements and federal guidelines. - Oversees, develops, and implements program reviews and internal controls, manages training and outreach, and conducts continuous reviews of programs to enhance performance and effectiveness. Conducts studies of the agency and provides sound, complete advisory services to senior executives. - Oversees, directs, and executes significant program budgets and contracted services, including coordinating facilities, building space, government leases, government purchase and travel cards, drug testing services and various other administrative support services. - Ensures physical safety and security of personnel, documents and property and security clearances. - Supervises teams of employees including interviewing, assigning workload, career development, assessments, awards and discipline.
