Job Description:

You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (CHIEF OF STAFF) in the Commanding Officer (Code 100) of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing executive level oversight to ensure accomplishment of programs and projects by developing and assessing strategic options to execute the work of a large and complex industrial shipyard. You will be responsible for the development and executions of the Shipyard Strategic Plan.
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, oversight and mentoring of Department Heads and other Senior Leaders.
You will serve on behalf of the Shipyard Commander as a liaison/manager to steer programs/initiatives.
You will be responsible for directing and coordinating Senior Leaders on the programs and policies, development, strategic planning, implementation and execution of the work to meet the requirements of a large and complex industrial Shipyard.
You will be researching, planning, implementing, and effecting major policies, plans, programs, resource requirements for extremely complex issues encompassing the entire shipyard, multiple departments and internal and external organizations.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting, reviewing, mentoring, and overseeing projects or issues which cross organizational lines, and propose solutions.
You will collaborate with the Shipyard Commander and oversee all significant administrative and long-range planning actions for program areas.
