THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2007000 and is part of the NC G1, National Guard (JFHQ-G1 / Manning Document 1326-016).
Military Grades: Enlisted (E6 to E9) or Warrant Officer (WO1 to CW2) Minimum Requirements: Experience, education or training which involves the exercise of analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and personal responsibility, and application of a substantial body of knowledge of principles, concepts and practices applicable to one or more fields of administration or management. Experience using computer and automation systems. Specialized Experience: Must have at least 36 months experience, education, or training involving the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting advanced concepts, principles, and theories of Human Resources to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements. Experience assisting in the development of Human Resources policies and procedures. Experience advising management on Human Resources principles and practices. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
As a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-11, you will provide management advisory services to all aspects of program management regarding Soldier Services; exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities; oversee the activities of program areas and ensure that legal and regulatory requirements are met; meet with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise; perform work and supervision in one or more of the following programs: Casualty Operations/Survivor Outreach Services, Military Funeral Honors (MFH), Yellow ribbon, and Domestic Violence Prevention and Suicide Prevention.
