Job Description:
This is a NAF position with the 17th Force Support Squadron, located at the Fitness Center, within the Sustainment Services Flight on Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, Texas. This position is considered Flexible. The position is not guaranteed any hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have current certification in one of the following sports; flag football, basketball, softball, soccer or volleyball. Experience which has demonstrated a good knowledge of the physical factors in individual and team sports. Must have demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactory at the grade level of position. Must be able to lift objects weighing 50 pounds. Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination. Must be able to read, speak, and write English and communicate effectively with patrons. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier-1 background investigation.
Officiates at Intramural Team sports, which may include: Flag Football, Basketball, Softball, Soccer and Volleyball To the best of their ability, officiate and/or keep accurate records of scores of those contests sponsored by the Fitness Center Maintaining orderly conduct on the court or field to which they are assigned Obtains necessary equipment and score sheets when reporting to work and checking in with supervisor Ensures that game equipment functions properly and that games are played under safe conditions Ensures all participants are using legal equipment If interested in applying for this position you may preview the online application: https://apply.usastaffing.gov/ViewQuestionnaire/12743253
