Job Description:
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Undersea Test Resources, Planning, and Coordination Division, Test and Evaluation Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing logistics lifecycle support and configuration management functions with unclassified and classified Information Technology (IT) Systems and equipment. You will be responsible for interpreting, planning, evaluating, and coordinating the effective implementation of logistics programs as they relate to unclassified and classified Information Technology (IT) systems.
You will develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain policies for DoD acquisition logistics activities and processes from concept exploration through delivery and support.
You will lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of logistical actions using Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPR), the Procurement Request Tool, and the Acquisition Management System (AMS).
You will advise on all aspects of logistics management with a focus on IT and related cybersecurity requirements as they relate to shipping, storage, accountability, inventory, and compliance with applicable directives.
You will act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for classified media destruction/shipment.
