About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Information, Tickets and Tours program at Hanscom AFB. This position is regular full-time, eligible for our full benefits and compensation packages. This position requires shift work that may include weekends, nights and holidays.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have knowledge and experience providing computer based travel reservations and ticketing. Knowledge of supply, inventory control and requisitioning procedures. Applicant must have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other process of cash handling, use of cash accountability control methods. Knowledge of office automation software.
This position provides clear and accurate guidance and coordination of leisure travel ticket informaton and referral services for both individual and group customers. Works interactively in development of group tours in domestic areas, for advertisement to the base populace through Information, Tickets and Tours. Intitiates action/contracts to maintain displays of information by use by all customers. Gathers, monitors and maintains data to complete reports. Coordinates, receives and confirms reservations for all activities including sightseeing trips and ticket orders. Manages the base engraving program, including inventory, product selectoin and engraving training. Evaluates and reviews purchase of resale merchandise. Prepares budgets. Supervises small staff. Plans and executes small local tours. Performs other duties as assigned.
