You will serve as the Department Head in the Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-04/ GS 13-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Serving as the single point of contact for all NAVAIR, interfacing with headquarters, contractors, and other government activities involved in the program; 2) Assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees; 3) Planning work and preparing performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work; 4) Developing and mentoring personnel engaged in the development of SE and ALRE systems; 5) Carrying out the full range of combined technical and administrative direction of others. You will provide unique expertise to support the development and testing of SE and ALRE systems.
You will provide expertise for manufacturing, management, operation and maintenance of SE and ALRE manufacturing and test sites.
You will support the developmental and in-service testing of SE and ALRE systems, sub-systems and components.
You will develop and manage financial planning data and budget execution.
You will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Department, ensuring subordinate supervisors meet their organizational goals and objectives.
