Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Act as a subject matter expert on all behavioral health counseling treatment such as implementing programs and policies to support clients families as a means to prevent behavioral health issues, conduct psychosocial assessments to determine needs, develop treatments based off capabilities and identified issues, and reviewing treatment plans to see if improvements are needed. You will implement policies, conducts screenings, clinical counseling services and case management services for Behavioral Health Branch programs.
You will administer a multi-modality comprehensive rehabilitation and treatment program to deal with Behavioral Health related issues.
You will conduct psychosocial assessments with emphasis on diagnosis and recommendation for treatment.
You will analyze proposed programs to determine effectiveness and impact, and recommends changes or improvements in methods and procedures to diagnosis and develops treatment plans.
You will Identify or develops sources for needed therapy and other support services.
You will plan, develop, and implement programs designed to support families within the community in order to foster positive and healthy relationships within the family structure, and to resolve family discord.
You will evaluate community resources to determine availability, applicability and best utilization of services.
