Job Description:
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supporting various stakeholders in the formulation and execution of requirements, planning factors, and budgets necessary to support design, development, production, and test and evaluation of large weapon system program. You will review and manage program financial plans and health to ensure that encumbrances, commitments, obligations and expenditures are within approved funding levels and carried out in accordance with program plans and external benchmarks.
You will prepare budget data within the budget exhibit(s) in support of the Budget Process, works with the budget office to formulate and prepare external budget exhibits for the NAVCOMPT, OSD and President budgets.
You will review and assist with the development and refinement of Program cost estimates and analysis/comparison of new/updated cost estimates against the original or Baseline estimate as well as “what-if” drills.
You will assist with planning, formulation and review of future budgetary requirements, including changes to acquisition plans and strategy.
You will communicate effectively orally and in writing, so that reports serve as an authoritative source of information for higher-level management.
You will communicate effectively orally and in writing, including the preparation and proficient presentation of briefings and talks to high-ranking military (through Flag Officer) and civilian (through Senior Executive Service).
